Terminando el mes de Junio, menos de la mitad de los centros de nieve en dicho hemisferio, no han abierto sus pistas. Solo 4 paises estaciones: Argentina (1 de 17) don de la unica que abrio fue Caviahue , Australia (4 de 8) y Nueva Zelanda (0 de 26) no con la misma suerte esta Chile, donde no oficialmente pudo abrir sus pistas Nevados de Chillan, y este fin de semana abren 4 mas oficialmente.
La causa de todo esto, es sencillamente la falta de nieve. El fantasma de las cenizas de momento no es el responsable de este retraso. La mayoria de los centros de ski Argentinos estan libres de acumulacion de ceniza pero a pesar de eso, la nieve no llega.
Estan programadas las aperturas para el primer fin de semana de Julio. Esperemos a ver como se porta Don Paqueton...y se cae uno bueno bueno!
